Resurfacing of roads in Summer Greens and Montague Gardens

The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate would like the public to know of roadworks in Summer Greens and Montague Gardens. The resurfacing of roads in these two areas commenced yesterday, 15 July 2024 and ends on Monday, 29 July 2024, weather permitting. The work is scheduled to take place between 07:30 and 17:30, Monday to Saturday with the Montague Gardens team working into the night on weekends.
The planned work includes milling, filling and resurfacing road surfaces along the following roads:
Summer Greens:
- Soldier Way
- Station Road
- Station Road and Summer Greens Drive Circle
- Blacksmith Way
- Lodger Road and Palm Close
Montague Gardens: - Kunene Circle
'Once this project is completed, our team will repaint road markings, replace and repair any pre-existing road signage where necessary. I would like to thank residents and other road users in Summer Greens and Montague Gardens for their patience during this infrastructure-led project that aims to leave us with a better road network,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
